Over the years we have become well known for our tools - the best you can buy. We stock only items you realy need that are hard to find elsewhere. These are not the kind of tools you find in discount department stores. They are craftman grade. Most are imported from Germany, Switzerland or Sweden.
A word to the wise: Buy these tools while you still can get them. These are tools I use myself. Many have lasted 25 years or more. It does not pay to buy cheap tools.
Optical Spanner
For removing lenses and franges. Goes to 72mm imported, hardened steel.

Lens Vise

BROACHES

Fiberglas Burnishing BRUSH
Ideal for cleaning up bad electrical contacts in cameras and polishing off rust in mechanical parts. Also, it is often used for removing bright rub spots from satin chrome cameras such as Leica. Precision DRILLS
12 drills #52 to #80 sizes from 1.613mm or .0635 inches to 0.343mm or .0135 inches, ideal for use in camera repair and with the pin vise . Very high quality. They are shipped in a plastic tube with cap...DR-52...$7.50.

Screwdrivers
EUROTOOL PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVERS. 1.5 TO 3MM DIA..Includes rare No 000 Driver also No. 00, No. 0 and No 1. Top quality, carefully ground, with color coded heads, hole through body so you can insert another screwdriver or a rod to apply more force. Many small camera screws nowadays are fixed in place with cement such as Loctite. First you need to soften the cement in acetone or nail polish remover or you may break your screwdriver--even though ours are very strong.

Brightly color coded. Strong fixed blades may be resharpened many times with a grindstone if worn or chipped. My favorite. I prefer them to the detachable blade drivers sold at higher prices.
Some care is needed in use of the smaller screwdrivers to avoid damage. Both the flat blade andthe Phillips drivers must fit the slot exactly. I prefer fixed blade screwdrivers personally. The flat ones may be ground to fit specific screws. If damaged, new surfaces may be ground in with a hand grindstone. They can be repointed many times before they become too short. Our screwdrivers are made with hardened steel. You will need to draw their temper by heating the blade in a gas flame before resharpening. Many cameras nowadays have tiny Phillips screws held in place with Loctite cement. You must soften it with a tiny drop of nail polish remover (acetone) first. If you force the screw, you will break the driver or the screwhead. Our screwdrivers are guaranteed, but it is a pity to break one.

Lubrication
HOW TO LUBRICATE A CAMERA
Watch oil and grease are good for cameras too-used by the best repair people. Synthetic watch oil which we sell does not stick shutters in cold weather. Be careful not to over lubricate. Put only a drop on a gear spindles, none on gear teeth. Use grease fo parts under much presure, just a tiny bit! We sell only the finest Moebius Swiss lubricants. Silicone spray and moly used in cars and electronics also can be used. Buy elsewhere.
MOBIOUS WATCH OIL 2ccm btl.
This is synthetic lubricant. Apply with hypodermic or with a drop held between the points of your tweezer. OL-216....$19
